  • 1 lb. (0.4 kg) chicken thighs

  • 14 oz. (400 g) half a can of 28 oz. (800 g) can be peeled tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup chopped onion (1/2 onion)
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 10 fresh, chopped Italian basil leaves
  • salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chopped Italian parsley for decoration
